Innofibre Takes Part in the National Bioeconomy Campaign
As a recognized research center, Innofibre – Cellulosic Innovation Centre is actively participating in the national campaign to promote the bioeconomy in Canada, led by Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC). The primary goal of this initiative is to raise public and stakeholder awareness of Canada’s bioeconomy, which offers tremendous opportunities in terms of economic prosperity, sector resilience, sustainability, and global competitiveness. By reducing our reliance on imported products, replacing carbon-intensive materials, and creating new products through Canadian intellectual property, we can strengthen our international position and safeguard our economy against global shocks.
This initiative aims to highlight how our resource sectors can contribute to industrial transformation, increased productivity, and enhanced competitiveness. We are proud to collaborate in this national initiative that showcases Canada’s strengths, stimulates investment opportunities, and supports a sustainable transition toward a greener future.
