Thermoformed Pulp
Supported by the Industrial Research Chair in Ecodesign for a Circular Economy of Thermoformed Cellulosic Pulp Packaging Materials, Innofibre’s state-of-the-art equipment in the field of thermoformed pulps makes it possible to meet the demand of Canadian and international companies that wish to turn to more environmentally friendly products, particularly for biodegradable packaging. The pilot thermoforming system as well as the spray coating system make it possible to meet the challenges associated with these parts. The 3D printer also reduces the risk involved in prototyping certain complex parts before machining the moulds of the thermoforming process.
